Confirmation preparation is a two-year program, utilizing Chosen: Your Journey Toward Confirmation. Chosen is an exciting program presenting our faith in a manner that engages and invigorates our youth. Its programs address some of the most difficult elements of our faith, while still speaking with rather than at the participants.
We are excited to present this program, and look forward to sharing more about it with our families. It is our hope that once our youth are involved in our faith in this special way, they will feel moved not only to continue to practice our faith through the sacraments, but to continue to serve our parish community through Youth Ministry and works of mercy. We encourage the parents to participate in the program through the parent's handbook, which follows along with the program and promotes topics for further discussion in the home.
Typically, the Sacrament of Confirmation takes place in the spring of each year, and is received by our 8th Grade students. The exact date is set by the Bishop's office, so notification is provided when we know.
